Frequently Asked Questions
How do I view a property?
Using our online booking tool to select an appointment time, you will be met at the property by our viewing agent who will show you around the property and answer any questions you have regarding it or the surrounding area. A fully refundable holding deposit can be paid to reserve the property.
A simple, yet thorough, referencing process will be carried out by our referencing partner. We'll verify your identity, income, employment details and previous landlord references to ensure a smooth and secure start to your tenancy.
What else do I need to sign?
Once your references are approved, we’ll agree a move-in date and create and sign the Private Residential Tenancy (PRT) agreement. This agreement outlines your rights and responsibilities, offering you enhanced security and flexibility under Scotland’s tenancy laws.
How do I secure my deposit?
Your deposit will be protected with MyDeposits Scotland, ensuring that your funds are securely held and will be returned at the end of your tenancy, provided the property is maintained in good condition.
Who is responsible for maintenance and inspections?
Should any repairs be needed, our support via Fixflo means you can easily report issues and receive prompt assistance. We also carry out a six-week inspection after you move in, followed by regular six-monthly inspections, ensuring that your home remains in top condition and any concerns are addressed quickly.
